Chocolate milkshake

If your children love a sweet milkshake but you'd love an option without the added sugar, try this nourishing fibre-filled recipe. This recipe is high in protein, uses naturally occurring sugars to sweeten and is a source of tummy-friendly fibre, calcium and magnesium.

Ingredients:
200ml milk of choice (ideally calcium fortified)
1 tsp cacao powder
1 fresh medjool date, pit removed
1 tbsp nut or seed butter of choice (tahini, cashew or macadamia butter work
well in this recipe)

Method:
Step 1: Add all ingredients to a blender.
Step 2: Blend until smooth and creamy.
Step 3: Pour into your Subo food bottle to serve.
