Why Can Mould Develop?
Mould can grow anywhere moisture and food residue are left sitting for extended periods - especially in warm or humid environments. Since Subo bottles are often used with fresh food products, even tiny remnants trapped in small areas can create the perfect conditions for mould if parts are not thoroughly cleaned and completely dried after use.

Tips to Prevent Mould

Separate all removable components before washing to ensure no food residue or moisture remains trapped.
2. Wash Thoroughly
Clean all parts with warm soapy water or place them in the top rack of the dishwasher where suitable.
3. Dry Completely Before Reassembling
Allow every component to air dry fully before putting the bottle back together or storing it away.
4. Check Small Components Regularly
Silicone spouts, valves and platforms (and other small parts) should be inspected frequently to ensure they remain clean and dry.
