Meet your Subo team

Hello, I’m Glen Mayer, the co-founder and Managing Director of Subo Products.

I’m originally from Whitby, Ontario in Canada.

Jules and I met in Whistler, and when her visa ran out I decided to follow her back to Australia.

That was 18 years ago, we’re now happily married with 3 beautiful kids, Murphy, Hudson and Marley, plus an Australia Cobberdog puppy named BIllie!

Back in my hay day, I played hockey (or ice-hockey as Aussies like to call it). Now in my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym and when I can, squeeze in a round of golf here and there.

Hey I’m Julie-Anne Mayer or often just Jules . I’m the co-founder of Subo which was born back in 2012.

I’m a mum of three children, plus one fur-baby; a horse obsessed eldest daughter, an ice-hockey mad son and a gymnastic star youngest daughter.

I grew up in Melbourne and was involved in basketball, netball and a pony club growing up.

I’ve always worked in Event Management, juggling everything as Mums do.

I love to travel to “stop and flop” destinations with lots of shopping, beautiful beaches and expansive pools.

Hi, I'm Jen!

I'm a mum of two - Lachie and Hayley and wife to Nathan!

I joined Subo over 2 years ago and love being part of the Fam! I am known by everyone as the 'organiser'.

I have a Bachelor of Tourism and Marketing but spent over 20 years of my career managing corporate events and partnerships (loved all the organising!).

I spend a lot of my time at the gym - some would call me a gym junkie! My favourite class is Zumba but am also getting pretty good at dead lifts. My kids think the gym is my second home!

Hi, I’m Christine, but known as Chrissie.

I have worked at Subo for over 2 years and studied a Bachelor of Marketing. My role is really broad and includes customer service, marketing, collaborations with Influencers, charities and small businesses.

I am a wife and Mum of two beautiful girls (and 2 pet birds named Bubbles and Kiwi). I love food, travelling (particularly to Leros, Greece), music, Pilates, watching Netflix, and spending time with my family and friends.

I'm Alan, but known by all as Al!

I love to travel and my favourite places to visit are Las Vegas and Singapore.

I would love to go to the US Open (Tennis) and the US Masters (Golf).

When I'm not working, I love playing tennis, golf and football. The best golf course I ever played on was Jack’s Point in Queenstown and Blue Canyon in Thailand.

My position at Subo is Warehouse Manager, where I've worked for just over 2 years now.

My nickname is “Bobo”. I started working at Subo in 2022, as the Assistant Warehouse Manager.

My favourite place to travel is Japan, for the culture, food and shopping. I enjoy collecting and building lego (Adult fan of Lego) and I collect Sneakers & Crocs.

I love watching sports - AFL (Bombers), NRL (Melb. Storm), NBA, NFL and F1. I love to play golf and once hit a 'hole in one'. My favourite course is the 'Old Course' at The National Golf Course, on the Mornington Peninsula. 

Hi, my name is Lauren Bailey (Lozz) and I am the newest member of the Subo team.

I started in November 2022, working with the guys in the warehouse, assembling food bottles whilst singing away to the radio. I don't think the guys enjoy this as much as I do.

At home, my husband and our three kids keep me very busy with basketball, go karting, footy and cheerleading.

We also have two King Charles spaniels, Cookie and Tiger, who love chewing everything!

In my spare time, I love to go for walks, read watch all my favourite TV shows.

Whoof! My name is Billie and am told, I am the cutest member of the Subo team.

I am a new addition to the Mayer family and to Subo. When I am at the office, my job is to visit everyone in the team and give them ‘love’. I work really hard snuggling and cuddling, but it is exhausting, so thankfully I also have a bed to nap in throughout the day.

I have three hooman siblings whom I adore. We spend lots of time together playing and my favourite game is chase! My Dad loves to take me to puppy school and I try my best to show what a clever girl I am – it helps when he provides treats. Thankfully Mum just likes me to chill on the couch with her – I am really good at that.
